Abstract: As a high impact educational strategy, integration of research into the curriculum is very good for student retention and engagement. However, we will discuss the benefits to faculty and students beyond these institutional priorities and benefits. This integration has become a good model for discipline specific inquiry at the University of Minnesota Crookston It has become a driving force in our own research agendas and inquiry. Lessons learned from both the sciences, education and humanities will be discussed in an informal, brain-storming format.
